The Pequot Nation

General Overview: The Pequot tribe was a very war-like tribe. In the 1600's a small pox virus killed some of the people. Also in that century, some of the neighboring tribes plus the europeans killed about 600 of them and then banished the remaining and told them that they could never come back to their fort.

 Food- Fish and other seafood, and they grew corn, beans, squash, and tobacco.

Shelter- Buckskin and semi permanent villages of medium size long houses and wigwams. The villages were heavily fortified.
