Hame Castle Built at end of 13th Century Served as a prison and as home Now a historical monument
	Olavinlinna Castle Founded in 1475 by Erik Axelsson Tott Consists of a main castle with three towers and a bailey with an encircling wall reinforced by towers.  Served to repel attacks from the east and to guarantee control of the Savo region for the Swedish Crown.

Great Cascade at Petrodvorets Was built to commemorate the victory of the Russians over the Swedes in the Northern War. Completed in the middle of the 18th century by the architect Rastrelli.   Particularly famous for its fountains in the Upper and Lower Parks
